So, if you were not aware, my interview I was supposed to have this week got pushed back. I have been a bit upset about it, wishing I could just go and get it done. My biggest cause of worry was that I didn't know when the new interview was going to be! It's with the President and the CEO of the company, and of course they have busy schedules..so I waited. Imagine my surprise when I get an e-mail this afternoon to set the date! January 5th at noon! My interview is in St. Louis, which is about 3 hours from Kansas City but I have been a little nervous to make the drive. Fearful that a big snowfall/ice storm is going to happen and the drive down there is going to tear away at all my little nerves. Making me a wreck by the time I actually get there! But surprise number 2, in the e-mail she asked me if I would like her to book me a flight! I will be flying to a city which is only 3 hours away! I leave on a Southwest plane at 10a.m.y, having the interview at noon, and catching a flight back at 4:00! By 5:00 I will be landing back in Kansas City! I told Spencer to ask the night off so we could go do something fun and I could clear my head!
For the interview I have to give a presentation on basic Photography lighting. I prepared it last friday thinking that the interview would be this week...so i'm ready to go! I think the presentation is great, it looks fantastic and I have photo examples for each of my topics. Running about 10 minutes long, I think I will rock it! Now my biggest issue is what to wear! I'm thinking there will definitly be some after Christmas shopping so I can hit all the sales!
Maybe something like this?
Or maybe this, with a fitted blazer?
I like this one a lot. :)
Friendly and bright...the job is to photograph newborns after all!
Or maybe a full skirt like this, but in a matte finish rather than shiny?
I'm so excited!!

Good luck--that's exciting! I'm sure the interview will be a breeze, and those are all great outfit choices!
I think any of those outfits would be a great choice - I personally like #1 and #2.
I'm jealous of your VIP treatment!
