I love our trees for many reasons... the shade they provide, the privacy they allow us, the amazing sounds with the wind whips through the leaves and they shake their branches, the chipmunks and squirrels that constantly scurry about the yard and the beautiful colors as fall approaches.
That being said... Our trees matured MUCH quicker than the rest of the trees on the street. They are like that one girl in your 4th grade class that got boobs before anyone else! You just couldn't help but stare!
And this is the rest of the street.......
Insane right?

oh yea...we have the same exact problem. i used to love the fall leaves but now...NOW...I HATE IT!
luckily, dave hired a weekly gardner who rakes it all up! :)
OMGoodness! That is insane. Maybe a leaf blower? You could blow it into the neighbor's yard and make it their problem! I am kidding, of course. This is why I live in an apartment building sans a yard.
Whoa! That is crazy! The leaves really like your yard!
Holy leaves girl!!! Wowsers!!
You absolutely need to splurge on a good rake! And some gardening gloves. It is one helluva work out so brace yourself!
oh my!! that is a ton of leaves! don't have too much fun raking ;)
That's great :)
Around my house- try being one of the only houses that has trees that actually has leaves that fall off. Our yard will be full of leaves from the 4 big trees, and all the other houses will have their nice clean yards with the pretty evergreens. But whatever!
I love all of the crispy, colorful leaves that flood everyone's yards! You could have some great big piles to jump in!
Holy leaves! I'm actually jealous. We don't have much of a fall in Charleston so no leaves. :(
That is strange. I love your comparison to the girl that develops first :)
Don't rake them up...they add character! All the other yards are probably just jealous.
WOW. Holy leaves batman. But it looks like it would be awfully fun to play in!
