A Snowy Sunny-Side-Up!

Brrrrrrrrrrr, it's cold out there!

There must be penguins wandering around outside and polar bears hibernating in the trees because it has turned into the North Pole up in here!!!! It is 6 degrees. SIX! and that doesn't count wind chill! The only bonus is that its keeping the snow on the ground and keeping everything pretty, but the roads are clear and there is no new snow to scrape off my window in the morning. It really is kind of breathtaking outside (which is odd since I can see my breath so well!) Even Mia came inside yesterday with no problems! I think she finally realized how freaking cold it is! This weekend I plan to relax, drink some hot chocolate, watch some movies, wrap some presents and stay INSIDE! A perfect end to a FANTASTIC week! Why was it so fantastic!? Well...keep reading and find out in the....

A winter Wonderland The snow finally came this week and Spencer and I went outside with the girls to experience it for the first time! A backyard to play in, snowballs to throw and confused little puppies made for an amazing winter adventure! Even if it was 10:00 at night and we had to stay kind of quiet.
and speaking of snow... a few weeks ago I wrote a post about snow and how I wanted it to snow here soon. I titled it "Come Soon and Melt on my Tongue"....haha, someone told me this week that....well, it sounded a little... "dirty". haha, what do you think?!

No more pencils, no more books...well, at least until January! As of last night at 10 p.m., I have completed my first full year of graduate school!!!!! 3 of my 15 classes are behind me and I am well on the way to earning that degree! GO ME! Now just a few years to go and i'll be done!

Sooo Tinsel! Disney has done it again! I think Prep & Landing is definitely going to be a movie I look forward to every year! I recorded it the other night and watched it with the girls over lunch today. It's such a cute little movie! If you haven't seen it yet it is airing again next week! "Dash away...dash away...dash away ALL!"

A brand new Bag I think this little tote bag from Sweet Gum Handbags is just so cute! I would love to have this for class next semester. A new bag for school just makes everything seem more exciting!

or maybe... this one from Show Pony. I love ruffles!

Oh Christmas Tree I LOVE Reeses Peanut Butter Christmas Trees! They always taste sooo good because of being so fresh! Regular peanut butter cups may have been sitting there for awhile, but Christmas Trees are limited run and made fresh! mmmmmmm I can't wait to bite into one!

Oscar Wilde quotes Aren't these absolutely beautiful! A must have for the book worm in your family! I absolutely love the one on the left!

Hello stud muffin I love this wallet. The deep sapphire blue set against the gold studs is tres tres chic!

Perfect Timing The perfect little watch to get me to all the parties on time! Love the color, love the shape, LOVE IT!

Intoxicating Scents Not sure what to get someone for Christmas? This perfume is AMAZING! I've worn it since high school and every time I put it on I get compliments about how "amazing" I smell. The perfect scent for any occasion. Light and sweet. 8 by Abercrombie .

Dangerous Beauty To anyone who has the Roku box from Netflix this is the movie you want to see this weekend! Starring Catherine McCormick it was a truly wonderful movie to watch. McCormick plays a syoung woman in love with a man (Rufus Sewell) but he can not marry her because she is below his station. She transforms herself into a courtesan with the help of her mother (who teaches her EVERYTHING about how to please a man). Based upon a true story, this movie has many female powerhouse moments and startling realization about the way woman used to live. It's a must see. :)

Holiday Spirit This weekend you can find me baking sweets for our neighbors and packing them up in tins, filling the house with warm seasonal smells, playing with the puppies in the snow and shopping for a few more christmas gifts! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!!!!
