A little reflection

If you have been following me for awhile, you know that this year hasn't been the easiest one for me. I had a lot of issues to face when I was laid off. What did I want to do,? What could I do better? Even though I knew I wouldn't have been laid off if they hadn't been forced to, it tends to eat away at the heart. After 10 long months, everything makes sense now, and this job is where I was meant to be! Today on my way home (at 1pm!) after a morning of photographing some beautiful little babies, I drove past my old office. As I looked at the crowded parking lot of cars and the cold stone walls and it looked depressing! I felt so free driving past it, thinking of all of the pencil pushers chained to their desks waiting for the clocks to hit 5!
I love everything about my job. I love the fast activity of bustling room to room, I love taking that photo that makes moms heart melt. I love getting to play with the newborns! (I don't want to be a mom for quite awhile, and getting to be around them each day is kind of nice.) It's such a rewarding job, and so much fun. Most of my time will be spent training photographers, watching them in moms room and helping them to increase the money in their pockets. I am so excited to help photographers across the us, and spread a little inspiration and excitement!
I am a true believer that if you work hard, then good things will happen. If you keep your chin up and look toward the silver lining, then things won't seem as bleak. As my sister-in-law lovingly puts it...I poop rainbows...
