This morning has been...rough... Definitly not the way I want my christmas to start! But, i'm trying to stay positive, listen to some wonderful Christmas music and stay in the holiday spirit! I feel I need to balance out my bah-humbug moments with some good holiday cheer, and what better was than a second edition of yesterday post!
So, here goes......
HoHoHo Christmas is in 3 days!!!
Bah-Humbug! I was in an accident this morning. Driving down my street (mind you I live 3 blocks from work and have a 2 minutes commute....) I got to the corner to turn onto the main road, started slowing down to stop at the stop sign and then out of the corner of my eye saw a truck coming at me! Yes...a BIG truck hit my car on the drivers side!!! He had come out of the apartment building at the end of the street and wasn't paying too much attention. Luckily he wasn't going fast and noone was hurt, but I do have some pretty bad scrapes, a bumpy door and get to spend my lunch-hour at the body shop getting an estimate. :(
HoHoHo I'm ok. No one was hurt. Spencer was home and walked up the street to help me out and calm me down a little. I have my health, and I was able to walk away from it without too much pain (just some shaky hands for awhile).
Bah-Humbug! Mia found a hole in our fence and now has the ability to scamper out of the backyard!
HoHoHo Spencer caught the hole before she escaped and was able to cover it up until we can repair it!
Bah-Humbug! I still have 6 hours before I can go home, snuggle under a blanket and drink the hot chocolate my boss gave me (While watching a Christmas Story)
HoHoHo The Kansas City forecast is predicting a white christmas!!!!! Our first one since the 80's!!!!
Bah-Humbug! Mia & Betty are pent-up little puppies and were playing like little bears when I left this morning. I almost tripped over them a few times!!!
HoHoHo They are ridiculously cute when they play like little bears, and I have the rest of the week off to spend time with them at home!!!
Bah-Humbug! Our dishwasher has been broken since we moved into our house! We have been fighting with the homeowners warranty company for almost 6 months, gone through 3 different repair companies, with 10 different visits to the house!
HoHoHo We got our check for a new dishwasher yesterday!!! I can't wait to go install our shiny new washer and actually wash dishes in it!!!!!

you poor thing! i am glad you are okay though! i like these posts though..i love you you are looking on the bright side:) and i want to go home and drink hot chocolate and watch a christmas story too. i think i just planned my night! wahoo!hang in there!

Oh no! Car accidents are awful. I am so glad you're okay, though. That could have been a really bad one.
