I'M BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my goodness it has been quite a few weeks!
I can't believe i'm married!
First of all, thank you so much to all of the AMAZING guest posters!!!! Everything was so wonderful and I love the special little flair you all brought to my little world of, "She's Getting Married"....hmmm guess i'll have to change that soon..... My wedding was everything, and more, than I ever could have dreamed of. From the moment I woke up, through the nervous jitters, seeing him for the first time and staring into his eyes as we said "I Do." everything was just amazing. He is my best friend in the entire world, and now he's my husband!!! I do feel however, that to tell the whole story, it demands some photos...
and those I won't have for another week or so...
In the meantime, i'll tell you about the amazing week I spent in MEXICO!!!!!!
After the wedding we spent a few days at home.
We opened our fabulous gifts at my moms house, ate some more wedding cake,
spent time with our furry kids, packed for our week-long adventure...
and bought me a Kindle!
BEST PURCHASE EVER!
On Monday night my mom drove us to the airport hotel where we spent the night,
waking up at 4a.m. to catch our flight to Mexico!
At noon...we arrived....
and this was the beautiful view from our balcony!
We just knew it was going to be an AMAZING week!

Our mornings were spent lounging by the pool...there were so many there!
The service was AMAZING! Drinks were huge, ice cold and NEVER empty!
As soon as we drank down one, it was quickly replaced without us even having to ask!
After a few hours poolside we would usually head in for some amazing lunch!
Fresh sushi, grilled salmon, seafood ravioli, tuna on tomato, etc...
EVERYthing was AMAZING!
After we filled our bellies, we would head down to the beach
The Excellence staff would lie out our towels on one of the many ratan beds for us
we'd cuddle a bit...
Enjoy the view...
and read our Kindles...
until the sun started to set...
and we would head up to our room to get ready for dinner.
The food was AMAZING!!!
and each night we would try out a new restaurant and take lots of photos together...
Three deserts? Why not, it's all inclusive!
There was only one storm the entire time we were there! It happened before dinner one night,
and was over almost as soon as it began! The clouds were pretty awesome though!!
One night we had a one hour couples massage, and then a romantic dinner on the beach
It was amazing! It was halloween night and we were the only ones out there.
Lanterns glowed on the walkway as we walked down to the beach
Our server was amazing and loved taking photos of us, there were rose petals thrown in the sand
and a harpist played beautiful music while we ate!
(although on his breaks it was interrupted by the sounds of "Thriller" and Marilyn Manson
drifting from the main house where a Halloween party was raging)
The food was SUPERB! An appetizer of spicy ahi tuna on a bed of fresh greens,
and AMAZING main course of veal and lobster tails in a succulent madeira wine sauce
and a desert of the creamiest creme brule of my life where even the berries were caramelized!
When we got back to our room a bath was drawn with rose petals all over the room,
and a fresh bottle of champagne waiting.
Our last night we went to an early dinner at Agave, the mexican restraunt
Had some margaritas, some delicious shrimp...
and then went for a late night meal at the French Restaurant so I could have my favorite
venison one more time! On my goodness, I could lick the sauce up! I would have a photo
...but I ate it too quickly to think of taking a photo!
At night we always headed out to the beach where we would talk, enjoy being together
and watch the moon reflect on the water....
and the occasional spaceship....

It was an amazing week!
We were sad to go...but excited to get home to our babies as soon as possible!
The flight back was a little painful. We had layovers with delays and almost missed our flight from Dallas to KC! Arrived at the gate with 5 minutes to spare and in desperate need of a sandwich! I wouldn't have changed a moment of our vacation though and i'm so happy to be home with my husband. I've spent the week sorting through photos, going through emails, figuring out some paperwork and applying for jobs that popped up while I was away. I am now Mrs. Schaub and I am loving every minute of it!!!! More photos and stories about my beautiful beautiful wedding will be coming soon!!!!! I promise it will be worth the wait! (Even I stood in awe staring at how beautiful it was when everything had finally come together!)

I missed you all!
Jenni
