This weekend I gained my 100th follower, and made my 200th post!!!!!!

How crazy is that, that they hit at the same time!? I am absolutely flattered, and it made me feel really special that so many amazing ladies care enough about my random thoughts to follow me! In honor of that, and all of you, I have decided to have my very first giveaway!!!

No, i'm not giving away my dog... but the prizes should make you smile just the same!

Two resolutions. One year to pull it off.

You are so sweet - what an awesome giveaway!!!

I've been to lots and lots of weddings, but one unique thing that I haven't seen yet, but will see in March is the announcement of the bridal party at the reception. The bride and groom are going to be announced first, and then they are going to personally announce their bridal party. I just think it's so cute and personal!

Oh, and I am a follower, too:)

Rockstar giveaway!!!!
Count me in.

1. I follow... of course. I adore you.
2. Coolest centerpieces ever... tall Hurricane vases with glass beads in the bottom that matched the wedding colors. The vases were filled with water and each contained a brightly colored Samurai fish (the beta fish with the big awesome tails). It was so fun to see all the fishies and at the end of the night, the couple encouraged guests to take home a vase and a fish!! A pet to remember the night by!! How awesome!!

And PS- I got so excited that Mia was part of the giveaway...

1. Totally a follower {congrats on reaching 100!}

2. My friend got married outside at dusk on a crazy hot day. They had a table with some summery {non-alcoholic} cocktails right before the ceremony. The ceremony was only about 15 min. so we didn't even sit down. Since it was still hot at dusk, having a cool drink while enjoying the beautiful ceremony was classy and perfect!

Actually I'm not going to enter your giveaway just because I actually already have that book and that movie :) Love both! Great minds think alike huh?

But for me one thing that I've seen at two of my friends weddings that I love was the Mashed Potato bar...you get mashed potatoes in a martini glass and then you get to pick your toppings. It's always a hit. I really want a make your own sundae bar but not sure if I can afford it.

You are so sweet! Congrats on getting to 100!

I'm a follower since I found you through Kristin.

Hmm, I hope at our wedding our DIY photobooth was fun. I supplied my hats, had signs and pens for DIY signs, my mardi gras masks, and threw in a few boas and a tiara. People had fun with it!

I would say the best thing that I've seen at a wedding would be a slide show of the bride & groom from birth on playing during the reception. =)

I unfortunately haven't been to very many weddings, and the ones I have gone to were when I was pretty young, so I hardly remember them.

The last wedding I went to had a sort of host. We'd walk around the reception basically to help out the couple continue the night and introduce things. It was his personality that stood out because he was so loud, energetic, and was in everyone's faces making sure they were dancing and having a good time. His loudness was a bit scary for me, but that was the nature of the families getting married, so it helped keep the reception lively!

Hi sweetie, the most orginal thing i have seen done at a wedding was that the bride and groom requested that everyone come to the evening party in fancy dress!! it was GREAT fun and they were also dressed up... its a slightly strange one but its certainly a wedding that i'll never forget!!

another good idea is to have a masked ball in the evening maybe?

I am a follower and the strangest thing i've ever seen done at a wedding is that the bride and groom were really country and the girl wore a camo garter, but anyways back to the story. When the bride and groom and wedding party was introduced, the bride and groom were handed a can or bottle of alcohol and a coozie and walked in dancing and drinking :)

LOVE you girl! you're going to be the beautifulest bride.

At one of my friends weddings, all of her friends from high school got up and performed a song that they had wrote for her, it was very sweet and was part of their gift to her.

Hi! I'm a follower!

Something that I saw at a wedding was a fun twist to the guest book. They had a polaroid camera (the kind that spits out the picture right there) and some tape I believe... People would take pictures and then right a little blip to them. It was fun because as a bride i know I didn't get to see or interact with everyone at the reception. I feel like this would be a good way to look back and smile... OR put a face to a name with some of your inlaws!

Good luck!!!

this is such a rad giveaway jenni! i love cristin's lovely knitted pretties, and i think she's so great for donating so much of her profits!

so...one of my favorite things i've seen done at a wedding was at my friend claires....the got a photo both and the photos booth spit out 2 copies... one to put in the guest book, and another to take home as a favor. it saved her the effort of having to deal with favors and everyone loved it.

2. I made a guestbook off of http://www.picaboo.com/ with photos of us and pages that had promt questions for guests to answer like, "What's the best advice you can give the Bride & Groom?" There were also lots of blank pages so your guests could leave their wishes for you. I had it going around the tables in the reception area while we were getting our photos taken.

I tweeted about your giveaway here

1. I just started following you! Yay!

2. The most unique thing I've seen was when the groom had learned to sing the song the bride was walking down the isle to. It was so sweet and a complete surprise to her when he started singing to her! I think almost everyone was in tears!

hmmm..... my sister-in-law's father played a song for the couple on his guitar which was really sweet.

At ours everyone loved the father/daughter dance (my dad is a huge dancer - twirls, dips, the whole deal.
