Don't let this face fool you....

yes...the cute little puppy face off in the corner....

Monday night Spencer and I were sitting on the couch enjoying a fascinating episode of Heroes. We had just split a choxie peppermint candy bar. Truly a perfect night! The house was nice and quiet. The girls were outside "unloading their poop rockets" as Spencer likes to say it... and I was laying under my blanket and relaxing for the first time that day....

At commercial break Spencer got up to let the girls in. I heard the paws clattering against the linoleum like I always do as they come careening through the kitchen at top speed trying to reach the living room. In one single leap Betty had jumped up on the couch and was snuggling into the blanket on my lap. (She's a big snuggler). Mia ran over and grabbed a toy, and Betty watched her jealously. She slowly shifted her position on my lap to get a better look at the toy Mia was quickly munching on and I looked down at the blanket where Betty had just been laying. There was a little piece of chocolate on the blanket! I picked it up quickly before Betty could see it. (Chocolate is bad for dogs after all, and Betty is quick as a hoover when it comes to grabbing up snacks!)

...as soon as my fingers hit the chocolate I knew something was wrong..... immediately my face went from fascinated to puzzled as I looked at Spencer and said "Is this chocolate...or poop..." I lifted it to my nose to sniff it, and Betty bumped my arm at just that moment making my fingers bump into my nose mid-sniff......Yes.....

IT WAS POOP!!!

I promptly freaked out, jumping off the couch and running into the bathroom to scrub my nose as Spencer sat on the couch laughing his ass off! He then brought Betty into the bathroom, butt pointed in my direction and held her as I cleaned her up.... it was not Betty's proudest moment, and she hung her head in shame and tensed up her little body as the sprayer hit her in the butt with a warm blast of water....

....and Spencer just kept right on laughing.....

Oh my goodness!!! I too have done the same thing in the dark. The best was when I picked up something thinkig it was clothes and it turned out to be a snake in the living room floor. :)

Oh my goodness!!!! No!!!!! Ahhhhh!!!!
I was driving back to school once, with the cats in the car, and Maddux always lays in a lump on my lap the whole drive. We were no more than 5 minutes from my apartment (thank God), and my thigh started to feel weird... kinda warm, just not normal. I look down, and the little beast was pooping on my lap!!!
Ha ha ha... your story made me laugh... stop by my blog when you can. I left you an award :)

Haha, how funny and cute at the same time! Sometimes my Charlie girl will have panic poops when we leave her alone, and her panic poops are like hard little rocks and I saw some sprinkled once around her pee pee pad, but I picked up her bedding to make sure she didn't run around and accidentally bring it onto her bedding. When I did, a gigantic rock of poop tumbled out! How are doggies so cute and so disgusting at the same time?!

PS, HEROES! I cannot stand Zachary Quinto's hottness! I get so tingly all over my body when I see him! And that part when he says thank you to Peter.. his eyes. Did you see the softness in his eyes?! AH! I love him!!!
